This isn’t so much a story of some college professor acting inappropriately by spouting his very controversial and divisive political views in class (although he does do this), but rather, it is a perfect example of how the left views the right.
Here’s the video:
I’m not sure if you noticed, but virtually everything he says is based on presuppositions which come from his personal biases, not reality. With rare exception, he doesn’t even try to base his ironic angry-white-guy drivel on principles or examples that might support his positions, he simply states his opinions as fact.
For example, he says that the GOP doesn’t want minorities to vote and that the voter ID laws that they say are intended to prevent voter fraud, are actually intended to keep minorities and the poor from voting. But how does he know this? Sure, that’s a convenient argument for a leftist to make but there’s no way to prove it. But for the sake of argument, let’s say that it is true. Shouldn’t the motive be irrelevant? After all, there was indeed rampant voter fraud in this recent election (as in years prior). Shouldn’t he want to do something about it? To fight fire with fire, I could state, as a fact, of course, that the only reason that Democrats don’t want to prevent voter fraud is because they are the ones who are cheating and they would most likely lose more elections if laws were in place to curb it.
He also states the fact that 82% of the GOP is white. Once again, to explain the reason for this, he spouts his controversial opinion as fact: Republicans are racist. Perhaps. But couldn’t it also be that there are more minorities in the Democratic party because that’s the party that perpetually promises free things to minorities in exchange for votes? Isn’t that another plausible explanation? Funny he didn’t bring that up.
You see what we’re up against, folks. We’re not losing the war for the minds of America’s youth because the left’s ideas are better. Rather, we’re losing them because the left has been able to successfully peddle its opinions as facts. It’s quite literally a marketing campaign that is being won by the extreme left.
